This 4 qt churn was produced by Standard Churn Company and available in the 1929-1930 Montgomery Ward catalog. This churn is still in working condition 90 years after it was made. It would make a great display piece in any kitchen or on a shelf somewhere. It looks great in natural light, as you can see slight bubbles and waves in the antique glass. The original paper label reads “Wards Butter Churn” “Whipper & Mixer” “Montgomery Ward”. Please view pictures for details. The lid, handle top and machine works are metal. The paddles and handle bottom are wood. The jar measuring to the top of the rim this mixer stands about 10 ½” tall, 9 ½” deep, and 6 ½” square. The mouth is approximately 5 3/16” in diameter.
